Non-Profit Tax ID# 72-0817602. Organized in 1972 as an umbrella organization of Italian Heritage Organizations from Texas to Virginia. The Federation represents those organizations at the national level and works to promote the events of organizations to each other. The Federation offers assistance to individuals seeking to join or create an Italian Heritage organization. College and Young Italian Professional Programs are part of our initiatives.

NIAF
NIAF offers several programs members of AIFEDSE can participate in. The Voyage of Discovery is a 2-week scholarship trip to Italy for college students 19-23 years old. NIAF of Campus is a #1,500.00 grant to Italian Clubs on Campus.

The COPOMIAO is sponsoring an Italian Future Leaders Forum in January from the 13-16th in Fort Lauderdale.
ISDA
ISDA is open to all ages. The AIFEDSE opened two ISDA Lodges in Louisiana. Our St. Expedite Lodge has 50 members of all ages. Members of one of our ISDA Lodges, receive a monthly 28-page newspaper, which has 1 page on Federation activities.

The AIFEDSE has a Constant Contact database of 4,500 names to market or advertise your organization’s event.
TV Show
The Federation has access to over 40 videos which make up 10 episodes on the Italian Migration to New Orleans. The episodes air on WGNO-TV and WLAE-TV. They can be watched on the YouTube Channel AWE News.
